K5 - NER/LNER/BR B16 4-6-0
These versatile engines, designed by Vincent Raven and introduced in 1919, worked fast goods and passenger trains on the East Coast Main Line. In later years they were often used on summer excursion trains to the coast. They were rarely seen south of Doncaster but they gave excellent service and the last of the class was not withdrawn until 1961. This is a whitemetal kit with jig-drilled chassis.
Needs Motor/gearbox and Wheelset to complete.
