K322A - BR Class 31 Brush Type 2 Diesel A1A-A1A'
This classic first-generation diesel arrived on the scene in 1957 and the survivors were still working passenger trains in 2004, making them the longest-serving main-line diesels in British railway history. The kit covers locos fitted with roof-mounted headcode boxes, with optional parts to cover the many detail differences and modifications that have emerged over their five decades of service.
As usual the kit features a three-piece alloy body, highly detailed bogie sideframes and brake gear, preformed etched roof panels, fans and engine grill covers, etched window beadings, snowploughs, sprung brass buffers, lost-wax buffer-beam pipework and many other fine detailing parts, including full cab interiors and flushglaze windows. An optional lighting kit is available as a separate item.
We recommend GB13 Motor/Gearbox.
